About UAE Regional Hub
More than an office, EFE’s UAE Hub serves as a regional base for creating initiatives, partnerships and visibility that will increase youth employment across the Middle East and North Africa. EFE-UAE was formed under the royal patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Tolerance and former Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, UAE. Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, UAE, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs and Chairperson of NAMA serves as EFE’s Honorary Patron of Global Women’s Inclusion.
Building Partnerships, Capacity and Awareness
- In the UAE, EFE links leading companies and foundations to EFE Network Affiliates to create high-impact partnerships and opportunities for peer exchange within our Affiliate network. EFE's UAE Hub also provides a platform for EFE to promote our positive youth message to global media.
Local Initiatives:
- EFE's UAE Hub contributes to local projects that benefit Emirati youth through job training and placement, entrepreneurship, and employability skills. EFE’s UAE hub has a special focus on empowering youth women through economic opportunity.
THE IMPACT
- Over 450 Emirati youth linked to employment and the wider world of work.
- 96% of EFE’s graduates in the UAE are young women.
