The London-based newspaper Al Arab recently profiled Education For Employment (EFE) and CEO Jamie McAuliffe. In its July 9th edition, Al Arab carried an article touching on the youth unemployment crises in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and specifically in those countries directly touched by the Arab Spring.
EFE is currently active in six MENA countries - Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, and Yemen - where the youth make up more than a third of the general population, and where youth unemployment rates are acutely high. The younger generation throughout the MENA region thus struggles to integrate itself within the labor market, according to Al Arab.
Al Arab, published daily in Arabic since 1977, is based in London and sold in a number of countries throughout the world.
