EFE responds to the increased demand in jobs in the Wake of COVID-19

EFE has been identifying immediate job opportunities as well as likely openings in the recovery period ahead, including:

EFE's Online Learning and Job Search Support

Youth have been eager to continue their learning and job searches, joining us online in large numbers. Here are some highlights from the past month:

EFE-Egypt resumed Job Placement Training Program classes online.

Over 100 participants benefited from EFE-Maroc's Facebook live session on CVs and job search techniques on March 31. They have also successfully graduated over 130 participants on Accenture Emplea+, a platform that EFE manages and delivers trainings on.

In Gaza, EFE-Palestine delivered a virtual training of trainers to teach ten participants about online tools such as Zoom, Trello, and Slack.

EFE-Saudi Arabia launched their website where beneficiaries can register for upcoming jobs or trainings. Early this month they delivered their first Finding a Job Is a Job training over Zoom, with about 55 participants and good engagement.

In March, EFE delivered trainings to 126 students in the UAE from Zayed University, American University of Ras Al Khaimah, Middlesex University, and the Ras Al Khaimah HR Department, who completed an average of four courses per student on the Accenture Emplea+ online platform.

In addition, EFE has provided youth with reliable information on COVID-19 through social media, particularly in locations where there has been significant misinformation.
