Alturki Holding Is Again Helping EFE By Giving $100,000 To The Catalyst Fund

Education For Employment is really proud of the long-standing partnership with Alturki holding, whose investments in our mission to address youth unemployment in the MENA region since 2013 have accelerated EFE’s growth with impact.

As a progressive partner, and one of the largest employers in the Kingdom, Alturki supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by facilitating economic diversification and supporting societal development. The Company is committed to the creation of value across all Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) topics and invests responsibly while supporting the development of economies, improving lives, and preserving the planet for future generations.

Alturki’s support of EFE’s first pilot program in Saudi Arabia in 2014 helped build the foundation for a successful, growing EFE-Saudi Arabia Affiliate that connected more than 4200 Saudi youth to the world of work over the past 3 years. Alturki’s support to EFE-Palestine and EFE-Egypt provided Job Placement Training Programs and Career Directions trainings, in addition to funding EFE-Egypt’s first beneficiary computer lab to provide 21stcentury digital skills training. Now as the leading nonprofit across the Middle East and North Africa tackling youth unemployment, EFE has supported over 100,000 youth to enter the world of work. EFE and Alturki share a vision that when youth have the hope and dignity of employment, they can build a brighter future.

This year, Alturki’s $100,000 generous contribution to EFE’s Catalyst Fund will continue to support high priority initiatives and operations, including online learning, innovation, communications, and videos to tell the stories of the transformative journeys of youth we serve. EFE’s Catalyst Fund overall focuses on digitizing its courses and adapting content to meet demand by the modern job market, a more unified technology platform for our operations, employer and corporate outreach, and a toolkit to replicate EFE’s model. This contribution comes at a time where the world is trying to figure out ways to fight COVID-19 and its impact on employment and labor markets.
